Festival de la Barca is a new arts incubator in Toronto, Canada.

The festival’s initial mandate has two streams:

Series A: Fully staged theatrical productions, emphasizing:

• Works of Spanish Golden age playwright Pedro Calderon de la Barca (1600-1681), and other international playwrights whose works have been neglected in English
• New musical theatre

Series B: Smaller scale works: Cabaret, lectures, games, concerts, and readings

The artistic director of the Festival is Terry Anthony Gambarotto.
